I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the honorable members of the Nepal Auditors Association, a common organization of registered auditors scattered around the country numbering around 8 thousand, for placing great trust in me and assigning me the responsibility of Secretary General from the sixth national convention held in Kathmandu on May 20 and 21, 2079. From the inner bottom of my heart, I would like to pay my sincere respect to the predecessors for their tireless efforts and hard work to bring this association to the height of a vibrant organization.
With the current socio-economic scenario, we auditors have to move forward more actively by getting closer to each other. We will try to make our members more relevant and effective in the current context by informing and emphasizing the tasks and challenges faced by the auditors to comply with the policy rules and regulations issued by the Government of Nepal and the decisions and instructions of ICAN. Our main focus is to actively engage all members and stakeholders by continuously contacting them and making their profession more efficient and prosperous.
In addition to protecting and promoting the rights and interests of auditors and maintaining mutual unity, harmony and understanding among accounting professionals, the Secretariat assures the esteemed members to remain passionate in our commitment to uphold the objectives and mission of AUDAN and to continuously encourage our members to achieve new heights.
We will make a long-term plan to expand the membership of AUDAN membership which will strengthen the financial position and unity of AUDAN and with the belief that a strong financial base and our unity will lead to the success of this AUDAN. I promise to provide excellent services to the members as a team to develop AUDAN with the aim of expanding the activities and fulfilling the expectations and aspirations of the members.
